A Custom Approach for Your Unique Needs

You’re not alone on your parent journey

Your child just threw another tantrum when you asked him to do something (or to not do something). Why the blue blazes does he keep doing that? You’ve tried everything – and you mean everrrything – nothing works! You’re just about at wits’ end. Amirite?

Why won’t she share her toys? Why do the kids hit each other? Gah! Make it stop!

Yup. I know.

As a parent, former Montessori assistant, registered nurse, and most recently a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist working with kids with autism, I know this situation firsthand, up close and personal.

The good news is, I have a whole lot of techniques and strategies to help you and your child navigate these difficult years – and yes, I do know they are all potentially difficult years.

We’ll focus on creating a higher level of understanding between you and your child, or you and the other parent, or both!

Whether the other adult is with you or living elsewhere. Sometimes grandparents get involved too and that’s great! The more the merrier!

What I’m trying to say is the family composition makes no difference to me, or to how successful we will be in creating a harmonious home.

We’ll look closely at specific communication and how to say what your child needs to hear, and how to help them to understand what is required of them.

You’ll lose the things you’ve tried at home that didn’t work, and you’ll gain the things that will work. Result: much better behavior and a happier homelife. No fluff, no weird words required.

Does this sound like something you need a helping hand with?

To tell you the truth, I wish I had got me (with what I know now) as a resource 25 years ago!
I offer parent coaching and I’ll get you from where you are now to where you can be with a happy, communicative home where everyone is feeling nurtured and heard.

What I provide is collaborative. No one is going to criticize or judge you, and no one comes into your home. You don’t have to go anywhere; it’s all done virtually or by phone.

We’ll build a strategy together that will work for your family. You in?

Book a discovery call with me to see what magic we can make happen for you and your child. No obligations or commitments, just the facts in a conversation.

2 options for parents

Flexible Parent Coaching for Everyday Challenges

This coaching experience is designed to work with parents as challenges and needs arise day to day and will flow with the expected and unexpected changes experienced in the household. Current needs and future planning are always an option for our focus.

For this type of parent coaching, you are looking for another perspective and a widely – researched, experienced resource available to you as you ‘find your feet’, perhaps preparing for or dealing with a change in circumstance such as a move to a new home, even a new country. There could be additions to your household that change the dynamics, or perhaps someone is no longer in the household and that needs to be accounted for.

There are so many shifts and changes in life, and who doesn’t want to have someone in their corner who will be there, cheering you on, yes. Also providing very practical, useable, and individualized responses to everything life throws at you.

I tell you in all honesty, I wish I had a resource like me when I had kids at home! It’s unimaginably difficult to do all the things all the time while trying to be the best parent you can. It’s a choppy, sometimes amazing, sometimes exhausting journey.

I’d love to be there for you.
