human design not-self theme

Not-Self Theme

by | Apr 26, 2022

The not-self theme is how you feel when you are trying to be anyone else but yourself, also known as not honoring your design.

FRUSTRATION

“Frustration” is not only the feeling you get when thwarted. It also refers to the way you feel when all the effort in the world won’t move the obstacles that prevent forward movement. You become attached to making this thing work and end in a flaming burnout when it doesn’t. Hate Mondays? Stuck in your job? That is frustration that comes from living a conditioned life, inauthentic for your natural energy.

ANGER

When things don’t go the way you had planned, anger can quickly make an appearance. You may see yourself as a victim of external control and even punishment. This leads to feeling powerless and very, very stuck. As the inauthentic energy builds up, the manifestor will work hard and long while achieving little. This path ends in a sense of powerlessness, lack of results and utter exhaustion.

BITTERNESS

Bitterness and impatience with self appears when you are off track (when you do not understand how Projector energy works) One of the biggest red flags signaling that you are living out of alignment is when you find yourself settling for less. Or you are compromising to your disadvantage because it’s all you think you can get.

DISAPPOINTMENT

You feel disappointment in others when you identify with their fears, anxiety, stress and negative emotions. You want to help them, but you are an observer, here to reflect what is there, much like a mirror. Not to judge or fix, simply to reflect. Your personal sense of identity is not fixed like the other 99% of the world’s population and this can cause a fear of invisibility.
