In Human Design there are 5 energy types.
GENERATOR
Your sacral center is defined. That much is sure. Being a Generator means that you have this amazing motor that can be turned on to create (or generate) incredibly uplifting energy which not only fires you up, but with it you lift everyone around you without even trying! What a gift! That’s how things go when you are living in energetic alignment.
However, if you are out of alignment with your natural energy flow your generating motor is turned off. Powered down. Much like a hot air balloon when it deflates, nothing is going to fly that day. Talk about sad! This is why knowing how your Human Design makes you so awesome is probably the most important thing you’ll ever learn in this life! I kid you not.
MANIFESTING GENERATOR
People blessed with this amazing energy type have the ability to initiate AND create. What does that mean, exactly? Well, you are a Generator and can/will lift others up when you are turned on. Talk about on FIRE! It also means you have the energizing drive of the Manifestor! This means the world of opportunities are yours for the imagining and choosing. If you can dream it, visualize the steps and see yourself doing them, then you really can and will manifest it!
So, what’s the downside? You may find that when things aren’t working out you can get angry pretty fast. The thing is, with that incredible energy you have, you can leave others behind and then get annoyed or impatient about the time they take to catch up.
MANIFESTOR
Welcome to your 8 percent of the population! Yup, there are not many of you out there. Your special brand of awesome is to impact people, situations, projects. You are a mover and a shaker! YOU get things moving. The key is to step back once things are underway and let the Generators (that’s most of the rest of the population) take over. You are a natural leader. They are the “worker bees”. And we need everyone to make this project work, so stay humble you amazing human, you!
There is always a flip side – unlike your friends the Generators and Manifesting Generators, you have an undefined sacral center. That means you don’t have the lasting energy that the others do. You’ll need more rest than your aforementioned buddies. It also means that you have to try things to see if they work. Be prepared for some things to go better than others.
PROJECTOR
Hello to all 21 percent of you! You are the emerging leaders of our time. Thank you for coming. The world has been waiting. While this is a good thing for the rest of us, it can be tough on you though.See, you are here to take a bird’s eye view of what’s going on so you can show people how to do things more efficiently. That kind of skill and ‘seeing’ takes a lot of diplomacy to use without treading on toes.
You are a wise guide, very tuned in to the energy and emotions of the people around you. That last thing is, of course both a blessing and a curse. Being so acutely aware of others often impacts how your day is going to go. Especially if you don’t know about it! It adds extra weight to the advice: ‘be careful who choose as your friends’. The good news – once you know how your type works for you, you can navigate potentially tricky situations and even make them work for you.
REFLECTOR
You are part of only 1 percent of the world’s population. How does it feel to be so rare?Let’s have a look at your energy type and see! You have no channels and no centers defined. Not one. This means you are open to all sorts of influence from your environment. I mean ALL.
You take in and amplify all the energy around you. You are in truth like a magnifying mirror!You are also vulnerable to burnout as a result of your open nature. Do you find yourself changing how you show up depending on who else is there? Chameleon-like? I bet you do. People may even comment on it. It is important for your well-being to take rest when you think you need it (because you do) and you likely need space and alone time to rejuvenate. You are emotionally vulnerable my friend. Take good care of you.
